Hotel Legado Alcazar

Great location in the city centre. Charming hotel with Molton Brown amenities in the bathroom. However, the breakfast is delivered from a catering company and microwaved – not worth it. I booked a room with a large balcony to enjoy some sun, but it was covered. When I asked if it could be opened, we were told it wasn't possible, so we could only get sun while in the bathtub. We were in Seville during a protest, and the entire city centre was blocked with some streets closed. When I asked the reception about taxis, they had no idea what was going on and were absolutely useless in trying to help me get one. Uber doesn't stop in front of the hotel; you'll have to walk to Puerta del León to catch it. They only clean the rooms until 2pm. As the room faces the Alcázar gardens, be aware that while the peacocks are beautiful, they start calling at 6am.

Everything exceeded our expectations. It was a last-minute booking after losing the last room at another hotel, but faith worked out in our favor because Hotel Legado Alcazar was gorgeous! The location was ideal for a 2-day trip where we wanted to do and see the most as it is just a few minutes walk from all the touristic attractions. The hotel itself is gorgeous right from the entrance and you can see how much attention to detail was invested in every little corner of the hotel. The room was beautiful, keeping some elements from the old building, teleporting you in a different time while still remaining modern, comfortable, and luxurious. The dim lighting gave it a romantic aura. Our balcony door was opening right towards a beautiful garden with birds, pheasants, and peacocks. Dreamy. And the breakfast was chef's kiss, surpassing any breakfast or brunch spot in the city.

Everything about the hotel. Just charming. Staff excellent and friendly. Beds the best I've slept in. Bathroom very very nice with fab shower, double sink and Moulton Brown toiletries. Enjoyed the 16:30 lovely snacks. Perfect.

The hotel was really cosy. The people working there are very warm and kind. The rooms were very clean (sometimes, the smell of cleaner was a bit strong, but I really appreciated that it was so clean). The location is excellent, right next to the Real Alcazar. It is on a quiet side street, but just a few steps away from restaurants, shopping and historical sights. There are extras at the hotel, like drinks in the afternoon. The hotel was also very kind, when I thought my flight might be cancelled, offering to give me a discount, if I needed the room for another night. I also loved that at the center of the hotel was a sitting area beautifully decorated for Christmas.

The spacious rooms, the staff were so kind and helpful even remembering small things such as our breakfast orders and being so accommodating! The location is fantastic! So close to the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Seville you will not be disappointed. The views from the room were exceptional and so peaceful.
